Eyebrow Embroidery – Microblading

For a natural look your eyebrows

What is Microblading? (Also know as Semi permanent, Eyebrow Embroidery, Brow Resurrection.)
Microblading is a a form of tattooing, but is semi-permanent. It is done with a pulling or swiping motion of a manual pen and set of very fine needles, implanting pigment under the epidermis of the skin.
The result of microblading is extremely realistic hair-strokes. The hair-strokes are fine, crisp, with extraordinary definition and dimension. There is no pigment spilling under the skin. This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. People suffering from alopecia, trichotillomania or any other condition that causes hair loss benefit greatly from Microblading, as well as people who simply aren’t happy with their eyebrows. The pigments used in this method have been formulated to match the client’s original eyebrow color, and if the eyebrows are still present, blend perfectly into them.

The results are a natural, flawless, fuller looking brow. Initially, the brows appear darker, but fade significantly over a two-week period.

BEFORE AND AFTER TREATMENT

What is Microblading?

It is absolutely crucial to have a touch up done after 30 days, as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment. We call this the “Perfecting Session”. During the Perfecting Session, you can adjust the color and/or shape, and add more strokes to complete the look of your client.

What is Microblading? (continued)

The results can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years, depending on different factors affecting the procedure. However, a touch up once a year is recommended to retain the shape and saturation of pigment.

Microblading was founded?

This technique originated in China, the spread all over Asia. In the last 3 years, the Europeans have adapted the styles of brow to fit European tastes, hair-stroke patterns, and shapes.

Conversation with the Client Consultation

It is important to have a consultation with each client to discuss concerns and desired outcomes for procedure. You should speak with the client about skin conditions, color, eyebrow shape, and stroke pattern.

What should clients expect?

Allergies and medications should also be discussed. It is your responsibility to know the product you are implanting in the skin. There are many pigment products out there, and you must know your ingredients and possible allergens. Ask them to fill out the intake forms. I will provide each of you with my own intake forms that I use in my practice.

What should clients expect? (continued)

For many clients, a new set of brows can be very dramatic. A change like that can come as a shock for some people, and you must be prepared to work with a client like this. Most of the time the brows will appear darker and thicker for the first 7 days after treatment. After the 7 days, the pigment will lighten and soften.
